
The Senate voted 69 to 23 to begin debating (Cloture )Bill S-1348 Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 The legislation would provide a path to citizenship for many of the 12 million illegal workers inside the country. The Senate had an opportunity to put a stop to this Bill, but because of 69 no Good senators who totally ignored the will of the American people, this bill will now be officially voted on and have a chance to pass.
